Catamarans are such a popular sailing boat that it is almost imposible to get one unless you book early. They're that good. Plenty of room, big deck, sailing upright, means no healing over, all the safety and electronics you could want in a yacht and fast if you so desire. They're are even catamarans with full size engines if you choose to go that way. They're not all sails.
Catamaran not only our fastest type of charter, and good reason. They combine the thrill and team work of sailing with comfort, privacy and great social space.
If you chose a crewed charter you will be waited on in luxury style, with a crew that knows the best spots in the caribbean and know the best places to sail. The bar is always open and the meals are fantastic. YOU set the menue and eat as you feel. Not when told to. There are just you and your friends and that's how a vacation on a yacht should be. Or in some cases just you and that special someone to do as you two please. The crew does know how to disappear.
RATES
The size and style of your yacht are among the biggest factors in its weekly base rate which does not include expenses such as food, fuel, and crew tip. As a general rule when looking at base rates the following three rules apply;
Bareboats are less expensive then crewed yachts
Small yachts are less expenseive than bigger yachts
Sailing yachts are less expensive than power-driven yachts
A small bareboat is typically going to be your best bet for an inexpensive charter vacation while a fully crewed yacht is likely to cost you the most.
If only the biggest, newest ,fanciest brand-name, fully crewed yacht will suit your tastes then yu're going to pay for the privilege of chartering it no matter what part of the world is in. Sometimes you can get a far better deal on an older yacht that's in great shape.
If you have never chartered before the Virgin Islands are the best place to start .You can sight navigate from island to island and never have to worry about being out of sight of land.
It has a huge sailing area and plenty to see and do.The temperature only varies about 5 degrees and the water so clear you can usually see bottom. Great for snorkeling , sitting on the beach, exploring or just enjoy the night life, which the Virgin Islands has plenty off.

That's the biggest part of booking a yacht. Our brokers will help you decide what kind of yacht best suites your needs and will help you in your selection. This is when a broker can be very handy. The service is FREE and they are experienced in knowing what company has the best yachts for your particular needs. Picures don't really tell you what is on the water. This is where experience comes into play. Our brokers are paid by the yacht company or the yacht owner so OUR only allegence is to you and helping YOU find that yacht.
CARIBBEAN
It's a big place but the people are great. Always follow the locals in dress, no bikins in town, and always be courteous to the crew if you use one. They are there to make sure you have a great time. Show them your appreciate for all they have done for you.
Each island in the caribbean is distincitve in it's own way and there is so much to see and do while your sailing. Some places you will sail for so long and want to go and explore the islands, that's ok, it is YOUR vacation. You can snorkel or dive almost any place or find that little piece of sand you will want to get away to.
Southern caribbean is windward and the northern islands are leward. St Maartin is a hub for power driven magayacht and Antigua is home base for many crewed sailing yacht.
